Do I need to shut off the water before you arrive?

No — we handle that. We locate the shut-off for the specific fixture. No need to shut off the whole house.

Are parts and fixtures included?

Common small parts (supply lines, wax rings, flappers) are often on-hand. For larger fixtures like faucets and toilets, we recommend you choose and purchase the fixture, then we install it.

What counts as minor plumbing?

Fixture-level work — replacing or repairing items connected to existing supply and drain lines. We do not re-route pipes or do rough-in work, which requires a licensed contractor.

Is a permit required?

Most fixture replacements (faucets, toilets, disposals) do not require a permit in California. We'll let you know if your project might be an exception.

My toilet keeps running — can that be fixed?

Usually yes. A running toilet is almost always a faulty fill valve or flapper — a $10 part and 20 minutes. We diagnose and fix on the spot.

What if there's damage behind the wall?

If we find corroded pipes or hidden damage while doing fixture work, we stop and show you before going further. You always decide how to proceed.
